Janice E. Resewehr, age 81 of Clarence, passed away on Tuesday September 25, 2018 at the Clarence Nursing Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 27 at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence from 5-7. The funeral service will be held at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence on Friday September 28 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Matt Schneider-Adams officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Janice was united in marriage on November 18, 1956 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua to William Resewehr. He passed away on December 5, 2017. Janice is survived by 3 sons; Kerry of Cedar Falls, Kirk (Kathy) of Katy, TX, and Kevin (Tracie) of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren Mackenzie, Jarrett and Jason Resewehr; and 3 sisters Delores Ruther, Joan Meyer and Bernita Biere all of Clarence. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Kelly Jo; 4 brothers Walter, Raymond, Harold and Marvin; and a sister, Eleanor Schroeder. Janice was a sweet, caring, and giving lady who had a great smile and laugh. She was a devoted farmwife in her earlier years and she truly enjoyed her grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the family or the Alzheimer's association.
