Jeanene Ann Cavey, age 91 of Wheatland, passed away on Saturday December 7, 2019 at Wheatland Manor. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday December 10 at 10:30 A.M at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Toronto with Father Francis Odoom officiating. Burial will follow at the St. James Cemetery in Toronto with a lunch to follow at Heinee Jo's. Visitation will be held from 9:00 until service time at the church. Jeanene was born on December 4, 1928 to Alfred and Ruth (Morgan) Rowold in Wheatland, Iowa. She married Robert Cavey on February 18, 1950 in Toronto. He died on June 21, 2018. Jeanene loved being Mr. and Mrs. Claus with her husband Bob, especially at Camp Courageous. She enjoyed traveling, camping with friends, wintering in Texas, and Sunday breakfast with her family. Jeanene was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and housewife. She is survived by her children, Christine Meyer of Wheatland, Angela Cavey (John Wagner) of DeWitt, Jay (Sandy) Cavey of Wheatland, Lisa Cavey of Wheatland, Bobbi Jean Bennett (Mark Boding) of Wheatland; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Nona) Rowold, Harry (Dianne) Rowold, and Ben Rowold; brother-in-laws, Donald & David Cavey; sister-in-law, Betty Lambert; and nieces & nephews. Jeanene was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandchildren, Casey Ahrens and Elliot Flynn; granddaughter-in-law, Jessica Flynn; and brother, Tom.
