Jeffery R. Jensen age 49 died Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Genesis West Medical Center in Davenport Iowa, following a sudden illness. Jeffery was born November 10, 1956 in Davenport, Iowa to Jerold and Donna (Siemsen) Jensen. On October 17, 1999 he married Mary Lauerman in Lowden, Iowa. Jeff was a 1974 graduate of Clarence-Lowden High School, he served in the Marines for 4 years in the Honor guard. Following service he received his bachelor degree at Mt.Mercy College and then received his Master degree at Western Illinois University Macomb,Ill. He was currently working as a probation officer in the 7th Judicial district. Jeff was a former member of the Cedar County Cattlemen's association. He loved his cattle and riding his Harley. Visitation is from 2:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday, April 2, 2006 at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Funeral services will be at the Zion United Church of Christ in Lowden, Iowa on Monday, April 3 at 10:30 A.M., with Reverend Barbara Muhs officiating. Per Jeff's wishes, his body will be cremated following the services. Jeffery Jensen is survived by his wife, Mary, daughter Katie of Lowden, his parents, Jerold and Donna Jensen of Lowden, and brothers Michael (Pamela), Bruce (Teresa), both of Lowden and Thomas (Jennifer) of Clarence.
