Jo-Anne Hass, age 65, of Davenport, Iowa, died July 2, 2008, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Davenport. Jo-Anne was born September 1, 1942, in Davenport to Ralph and Rose (Huss) Doughty. Jo-Anne married John LaFond Sr. in 1962. He died in 1991. She then married Gerald Hass on February 29th, 2000. He died in 2004. Jo-Anne was a homemaker. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery in Wheatland, Iowa on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Jo-Anne is survived by her sons Edward (Lisa) LaFond of Decatur, Tennessee, John (Aundrea) LaFond of Calamus, Iowa, and Michael of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters June Ayers of Chicago, Illinois and Mary Lou Johnson of Wisconsin; sisters-in-law Myrna Ladwig, Marlo Ferre, Marianne Ruggberg, and Karen Sennsegg; brother-in-law Brian Hass; grandchildren Orin Lafond, Kim Steinecke, Richard Murillo, and Casandra Murillo; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Jo-Anne was proceeded in death by her parents, sister, and brother.
