Joan Marie Emma Kruckenberg, age 80, of Elmwood Park, Il. Formerly of Lowden, passed away Wednesday August 14, 2013 at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, Il. Services for Joan will be Monday August 19, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence with a visitation an hour before the service with Rev. Jordan McKinley officiating. Burial will follow at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Lowden. Joan was born May 5, 1933 to Emil Albert and Hazel Marie (Wiese) Kruckenberg. She lived with her parents in Elmwood Park, IL and worked for many years at Porter Safety Seal in Elmwood Park, IL.\n \n Joan is survived by and was a fond cousin of many from the Lowden area. She was preceeded in death by her parents.\n
