Jon C. Orey, age 60, died Thursday October 4, 2012 at DeWitt Community Hospital. Visitation will be from 10:30 - 12:30 Tuesday October 9, 2012 at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland. Burial in Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, will follow. Jon married Janice Snyder on November 5, 1989 at East Moline,Ill.\n Survivors include his wife Janice; son Jim(Tina)Roman of Wheatland; granddaughters Hannah and Grace and 2 sisters Cindy Wyant of Rock Island,Ill. and Pam of Florida.\n Jon loved to fish,woodworking and gardening. Jon also had a love of visiting with freinds and strangers.\n He was preceeded in death by his parents and 3 sisters.
