Joyce Joan Ganzer, age 62 of Wheatland, passed away peacefully but unexpectedly in her home on Friday April 24, 2026. There will be a gathering to celebrate Joyce at a later date.

Joyce was born December 18, 1963 in Davenport, Iowa to Norman and Lois (Puck) Levien. She married Frank Ganzer on August 30, 1991. He passed away on July 9, 2022.

Joyce is survived by her brothers Darrell (Cynthia) and Duane (Denise) Levien; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend David Schneider.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister Janet Schlemmer; nieces Rachel Levien and Crystal Schlemmer; and nephew J.T. Ganzer.

Joyce will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love of people, and the countless friendships she built over the years. For more than 20 years, she found joy and purpose in selling Tupperware, where customers quickly became friends. Whether hosting lively parties or setting up at vendor events, Joyce had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued.

She truly loved meeting new people, and many of her fellow vendors became like family. Joyce shared kindness and warmth not only with them, but also with their children, creating connections that lasted far beyond the events themselves.

Joyce treasured time spent with her own family and friends. She delighted in game nights filled with laughter, as well as simple moments of sharing a meal and meaningful conversation. She had a spontaneous and fun-loving nature, always ready to make plans for a concert, comedy show, or dinner theater—anything that brought joy and brought people together.

For the last 10 years, Joyce was employed at Cedar Valley Chiropractic, where she continued to share her warmth and genuine care with those she met.
