Judith Ann Johnson, age 81 of Clarence, passed away Saturday December 6, 2025, in Iowa City. A celebration of Judi's life will be held from 10:00 a.m until 12:00 p.m on Saturday, December 20 at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Judi was born on March 31, 1944 in Jefferson WI, to Leslie L. Pruefer and Vera Mae (Trick) Pruefer. Judi graduated from Jefferson High School in 1962. She married Francis J. Johnson on December 11, 1965 in the Busseyville Community Church. Fran preceded her in death on September 3, 2008. Judi was a Hairdresser and owned Rose Marie Beauty Salon from 1968 until 1981. She also worked at Cedar Manor in Tipton, IA for 25 years. Judi was an avid reader, and also loved sewing, quilting and traveling. Above all she loved her family. Judi is survived by her son Troy (Deana) Johnson of Beloit, WI; daughter Trisha (Mark) Meyers of Clarence, IA; four grandchildren Kyle Meyers Clarence, IA, Tristen Johnson, Syracuse, NY, Logan Johnson Beloit, WI, and Kortney Meyers, Clarence, IA; and two great grandchildren, Autumn and Ryder Meyers. Judi was preceded in death by her parents; sister Mary Renz; and her brother Charles Pruefer.
