Julia A. Goedken, age 60 of Clarence, passed away on December 30, 2022. There will be a memorial service at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence on Thursday January 5 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be one hour before.

Julia was born February 15, 1962 to Walter and Marlene Knepper Goedken in Dubuque, Iowa.

Survivors include her daughter Leha (Curtis) Johnson of Clarence; grandchildren Hunter, Haven, Holden, Husdon, Creed, and Lorelei; her mother Marlene; brothers Terry (Jan) of Dyersville and Gary (Sara) of Worthington; and sister Kim (Doug) Marsh of Dyersville.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Some of the things Julia enjoyed were watching westerns, her friends, playing cards, listening to music, her Pepsi and cigarettes, and especially her 6 grandchildren. In her younger years she liked to go to live concerts. Julia's religion remained important to her.
