June E. Mowry, age 97, died Tuesday February 2, 2016 at Wheatland Manor Care. There will be a private family celebration of life at a later date. June was born June 24, 1918 to Joseph and Vinnie (Tryell) Kulhavy at Oxford Junction, Iowa. She married Roy Mowry in 1940. He passed on April 4, 2005. Survivors include sons Marlin (Judy) of Lowden and Wayne (Marilyn) of Irving, Texas and a daughter Lauren Sires of Urbandale, Iowa. She has 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceeded in death by her parents, husband, brother Joseph and sisters Helen Marek and Esther Woeber. Memorials may be directed to the Massillon Cemetery or the Lowden Fire and Rescue.
