Keith A. Dennis, age 70, of Clarence, Iowa, died Friday, February 15, 2008, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids after a lengthy illness. Keith was born on October 18, 1937, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Keith married Karen Achey on July 14, 1963 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence, with Reverend David Mears officiating. Per Keith's wishes his body has been cremated. Inurnment will be in Clarence Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time at the church on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Cedar County Volunteer Services - Van Fund. Keith and his wife, Karen, started KKD Enterprises trucking company in 1983 and sold it in June 2001. Keith was diagnosed with M.S. in 1992. Keith was an avid supporter of local dirt track racing. Keith is survived by his wife Karen; sons Randy (Kelly) of Clarence, Rod (Lori) of Clarence; daughter Patrice (Mervin) Weaver of Lisbon, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
