Kent A. Meyer, age 63 of Coralville, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Saturday July 15, 2023. Visitation will be at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence on Wednesday July 19 from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM with burial in the Stanwood Cemetery to follow.

Kent was born August 24, 1959 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Kenneth and Kathleen Thompson Meyer.

He is survived by his daughters Alyssa (Michael) Ploeger of Des Moines and Krista Meyer of Cedar Rapids; the love of his life Delta Richardson of Coralville; grandson Lucas and granddaughter Ryan; sister Joan (Tom) Hanna of Anamosa; and Kit Kat the cat.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Mark.

Kent loved NASCAR, watching Iowa Football, and especially watching the girls barrel race. He will be dearly missed by his family and his co-workers at Clear Creek – Amana High School.
