Lane Warren Hoffmann, age 2 days, of Wheatland, Iowa, died Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at University Hospital, Iowa City. Lane was born Sunday September 17, 2006, in Genesis East Medical Center-Davenport to Kody and Shoni (Lane) Hoffmann. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 23, 2006, with graveside services at Big Rock Cemetery, Big Rock, Iowa, with Reverend Laird Keever officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, September 22, at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland. Lane was preceded in death by grandfather, Robert Lane. Lane was survived by his parents, Kody and Shoni, his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Lane of Dewitt, his paternal grandmother, Karen (Phillip) Eichhorn of Wheatland, his paternal grandfather, Kent Hoffmann of Wheatland, his paternal great grandmother Vivian Meyer of Big Rock, and his paternal great great grandmother, Ruth Hoffmann of Wheatland.
