Lloyd Hamdorf, age 69, of Wheatland, Iowa, died at Genesis West Medical Center-Davenport on May 22, 2010. Lloyd was born May 17, 1941, in Wheatland, Iowa to Walter and Clara (Schneider) Hamdorf. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Memorial Services Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland, with Reverend John Cofield officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery in Wheatland. The family will receive friends from 10:00am on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, until service time. Lloyd was a graduate of Wheatland High School, served in the Army and retired from Case I.H. in East Moline. He was a member of the Wheatland American Legion. He is survived by daughter Kerri (Tom) Nykoluk of Davenport; his mother Clara Hamdorf of Wheatland, and 4 grandchildren. Lloyd was preceded in death by his father and son Kelly.
