Lois L. Daehn, age 99, died Wednesday February 15, 2017 at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland on Monday February 20, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden on Tuesday February 21, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Dan Redhage officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Lois was born May 25, 1917 to Charles and Bertha Fedia Wilma Holtz Schroeder in Toronto, Iowa. She married Herman Daehn on February 25, 1936 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden. Herman passed on June 15, 1994. Survivors include grandchildren Craig (Joyce) Brophy of Cedar Rapids, Brett (Peggy) Brophy of Fairfax, IA., Dwight (Darcy) West of Davenport, IA., Teresa (William) Schilling of East Troy,WI.; son-In-laws Jerome Brophy of Ames, IA. and Ernest West of Dent,MN.; 13 great grandchildren and sister Myrtle Martin of California. Lois loved to do crafts with her daughters, go fishing and traveling with Herman and take care of her large garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughters Karen and Rhea.
