Lois G Dauber, age 82 of Stanwood passed away peacefully in her home on Friday July 1st 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 5th at 11:00 AM at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence Iowa; Reverend Byron Miller will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with funeral services to directly follow. Following the services she will be cremated with interment to follow at a later date in the Stanwood Cemetery.
Lois was born on May 31st 1940 to Lyman and Agnes (Claussen) Creveling in Clinton, Iowa. She married her Husband Russell Dauber on August 19th 1983 in Black River Falls Wisconsin.
She is survived by her daughters Laura Kramer, Robin (Duane) Boettcher, and Katie Fries; Step children Mike (Cari) Dauber and Sara (Adam) Sandberg; Grandchildren Gavin, Tyler, Alexandra, Caroline, Dillon, Reese and Jace; Great Grandchildren Zachary and Samuel.
And her Beloved Dog, Phillip.
Lois is proceeded in death by her Husband, Parents, Sister, Son-in-law David Kramer and Grandson Zachary Kramer.
Lois had a love for animals but a special place in her heart for horses - a passion she handed down to the next two generations. She was a wildchild in her younger years and enjoyed racing stock cars on the Maquoketa track. She was raised on the century family farm in Clinton county. She attended Paris Beauty Academy and was a beautician for over 50 years; Owning and Operating "Ze Moppe Shoppe" in Stanwood. Lois was very artistic, she loved to paint, sew and cook. Lois and her husband Russ Volunteered their time as members of the Stanwood Lions Club, they played the role of "Mr and Mrs Claus" for many years. She adored her Grandchildren and loved spoiling them, taking day trips, going fishing and playing cards.
Lois will be remembered as a kind, loving and humorous person who will be greatly missed.
