Loren H. Lilienthal, age 62, died Thursday January 24, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 29, 2013 at 10:30 A.M at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence with Reverend David Mears officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Clarence. Visitation will be held Monday January 28, 2013 from 4-7 P.M at Chapman's in Clarence. Loren was born July 14, 1950 in Iowa City, Iowa to Eldon and Lois (Levien) Lilienthal. He married Teresa Riggs on December 2, 1978 in Muscatine. Loren loved his family, farming, and reading, and had a huge passion for racing. He was also on the Fairfield Township Board of Trustees. Mr. Lilienthal is survived by his wife, Teresa; two daughters, Lisa (Adam) Horman of Clarence and Laura (Andrew) Meyer of Donahue; son, Daniel of Clarence; four grandchildren; two brothers, Leon of Tipton and Lynn (Pat) of Tipton; and his mother, Lois of Tipton. He was preceded in death by his father.
