Louise F. Siebels, age 90, of Mechanicsville, Iowa, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at her home after lengthy illness. Louise was born June 9, 1917, in Stanwood, Iowa to Paul and Ida (Luedeman) Lehrman. Louise married Lawrence Siebels on Dec. 20, 1945 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stanwood. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 15, 2007, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stanwood, Iowa, with Reverend Timothy Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Stanwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, December 14, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Louise is survived by her husband Lawrence "Larry"; sons Dale and David (Sue) both of Stanwood; daughter Shirley Poucher of Golden Colorado; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sister Helen (Buell) Jackson of Mechanicsville; brothers Herbert Lehrman of Olin, Melvin Lehrman of Mechanicsville,and Arnold Lehrman of Stanwood. Louise was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Alma Hansen.
