Lovice M. Hintz, age 80, of Toronto, Iowa, died Sunday, April 24, 2011. Lovice was born September 13, 1930, in Toronto, Iowa to Edward Fritcher and Erma (Timm) Fritcher. Lovice married Raymond Hintz on November 23, 1947 in Lowden, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland, Iowa, with Dianne Pritchard officiating. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery, Massillon, Iowa. Visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, April 27, until service time at the funeral home on Wednesday. Lovice had owned and operated Hintz Grocery in Toronto for over 20 years. She is survived by husband Raymond, daughter Linda Steines of Toronto, sons Harlan of Toronto and Marvin (Cheryl) of Wheatland, and 2 grandsons. Lovice was preceded in death by her parents.
