Lucille W. Horman, age 95 of Lowden, passed away on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at Wheatland Manor. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden with Rev. Daniel Redhage officiating. Visitation will also be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Lucille was born June 25, 1928 in Lowden to Richard and Claudine (Von Essen) Licht. She married Earl Horman on December 4, 1949 in Lowden. He passed away on February 25, 1997.

Lucille is survived by her son David (Rose) Horman of Lowden; daughter Diane Johnson of Lowden; grandchildren Nathan (Carrie) Horman and Alyssa (Peter) Hummel and their children Luke & Quinn; brother Lawrence Licht of Clarence; sister Eleanor Wenndt of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law Kurt Johnson; sisters Lois Yutesler & Elaine Kroh; and brothers Marvin & Alvin.

Lucille was a farm wife for life and enjoyed cooking and her flowers. She loved getting together for family gatherings and was always excited to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
