Marcia Kay Burhop, 60, of Wheatland, died Monday, July 9, 2012, in the West Wing Nursing Home, DeWitt. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, Trinity Lutheran Church, Lowden, with the Rev. Victor Young officiating. Burial: Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service Saturday at the church. Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland, is assisting the family. She was born Sept. 24, 1951, in Davenport, Iowa, to Laurence and Eleanora Becker Burhop. Marcia previously worked at the Skyline Center in Clinton and Specialty Packaging in DeWitt, until retiring in 2007. Survivors include her sister, Barbara (Ret. Col. Lynn) Carroll of Gilbert, Ariz.; and two nephews, Justin (Danielle) Carroll of Tuscon, Ariz. and Jarrod (significant other Heather) Carroll of Chandler, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, West Wing Nursing Home or the Skyline Center in Clinton.
