Margaret E. Mess age 76 died Monday, March 20, 2006 at Crestridge, Inc. in Maquoketa Iowa. Margaret was born May 18, 1929 at Wayland, Iowa to Peter Rich and Margaret Wolby. She married LeRoy Mess June 7, 1952 at Davenport. He died in 1990. A 1948 graduate of Wheatland High School, Margaret had worked as a waitress and had worked at International Paper Co. Her favorite hobby's were playing bingo and cards. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 22nd, 2006 at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland. Funeral services will be at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland, Thursday, March 23rd, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be at Massillon Cemetery in Massillon, Iowa. Survivors include her son, Rex (Lana) of Toronto, Iowa; step grandchildren Jacob and Brianna Siefers and brother Everett Rich of Wheatland. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters and 6 brothers.
