Marilyn Nebergall, age 81, of Olin, Iowa, died on December 24, 2010, at Clarence Nursing Home. Marilyn was born March 28, 1929, in Cedar County, Iowa to Fred Hoffner and Lena (Biere) Hoffner. Marilyn married Richard Nebergall May 18, 1947, in Cedar Rapids; he died November 28th, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence, Iowa. Burial will follow at The Olin Cemetery on Thursday. Visitation will be held at 5:00pm on Wednesday, December 29, until service time at the Funeral Home. Marilyn was a homemaker and her family was the biggest part of her life. She was a member of the Olin United Methodist Church. She is survived by daughters: Terry (Duane) Lasack of Lowden, Pat (John) Sandberg of Mechanicsville, Nancy Diossy and friend Mark Bone of Anamosa; son Warren (Cindy) Nebergall of Olin; 9 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Marilyn is proceeded in death by her parents, husband, brother Robert Hoffner, and sister Doris Hasselbusch.\n
