Marla Remington, age 65 of Cedar Rapids, died unexpectedly on Wednesday January 1, 2025 at her home. A private family graveside service will be held in the Clarence Cemetery.

Marla was born February 19, 1959 in Anamosa, Iowa to Ronald and Delores (French) Remington.

Survivors include her mother Delores Dallege (French); Children Joel (Kristal) Horman of Cedar Rapids, Julie (Kevin) Quickstad of Forney, TX; Grandchildren Holland and Eden Horman; Brothers Randy (Dina) Remington of Waukee, IA and Scott (Vicki) Remington of Houston, TX; Sister Lori Remington of North Liberty; And many great family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Marla enjoyed camping in her earlier years, doing crosswords, cross stitching, and working for Dr. Drexler for many years in Clarence.
