Mary Ann Fehling, age 85 of Clarence, passed away on Thursday November 26, 2015 at Unity Point St. Luke's Hospice in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 1, 2015 at 10:30 A.M at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence with Pastor Tommi Boeder officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M until service time at the church. Mary Ann was born on December 26, 1929 to Fred and Anna (Rehmke) Evers in Maquoketa, Iowa. She married Richard Fehling on April 9, 1949 in Clarence. He died March 25, 1980. Mary Ann worked as a bookkeeper for Clarence Motor Company and Strackbeins, Inc. She was also a charter member of the Sunday Night Singles where she served as the treasurer for three years. She is survived by her brothers, Darrell (Glenda) Evers of DeWitt and Marvin of Cedar Rapids; sister-in-law, Kathy Evers of Cedar Rapids; and several nieces & nephews. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Frederick; and special companion, Walter Wiebke.
