Mathilda W."Till" Stolte, age 94, of Lowden, Iowa, died on January 24, 2012 at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home. Mathilda was born January 24, 1918, in Lowden to Paul Stolte and Anna (Meier) Stolte. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden, Iowa, with Rev. Victor Young officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm on Friday, January 27, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Mathilda was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. She was a clerk at Friends department store in Lowden for many year and was a former Sunday School teacher. She is survived by her brother Wilbert of Clarence, nieces, and nephews. Mathilda was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Elmer and Edwin.
