Maxine 'Micky' Feuss, age 80, of Clarence, Iowa, died September 20, 2007, at St. Lukes Hospital Cedar Rapids after lengthy illness. Maxine was born October 10, 1926, in Lowden, Iowa to William and Lena (Fountain) Ihns. Maxine Married LaVern Feuss on March 23, 1968. Micky enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and her family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 24, 2007, at Massillon Community Church in Massillon, Iowa, with Pastor Lynn Butterbrodt officiating. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, September 23, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Maxine is survived by her husband LaVern; daughters Virginia (Ginny) Wendel of Bennett, Freida Bixler of Clarence; sons Neil (Carol) Hoffner of St.Louis, Missouri, Gale Hoffner of Clarence and Paul (LuAnn) Hoffner of Clarence; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; sister Mary (Jim) Noskowiak of Wisconsin; and brothers Lawrence Ihns of Toronto, Iowa, Ray Ihns of Tipton, Bill (Barb) Ihns of Massillon and Howard (Nancy) Ihns of Cedar Rapids. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Neil, 2 brothers and a great granddaughter.
