Maxine Schmidt, age 84, of Clarence, Iowa, died Sunday, June 14, 2009, at the Clarence Nursing Home. Maxine was born April 15, 1925, in Cresco, Iowa, to Arthur and Mae (Noblet) Blomgren. She married Arthur Schmidt. Graveside services will be held at Hazelridge Cemetery in Elkhorn, Wisconsin at a later date. Maxine is survived by her daughters Connie Hudson of Wonder Lake, Illinois and Mary Christman of Wisconsin; son Thomas of Wisconsin; 8 grandchildren; sister Mavis Wam of Beloit, Wisconsin; brothers Darrell Blomgren of Wisconsin Dells, Arlyn Blomgren of Jeffersen, Wisonsin and Ronald Blomgren of Oregon.
