Milton E. Behrens, age 87, of Tipton, Iowa, died Saturday, Dec.30, 2006, at Prairie Hills Assisted Living-Tipton. Milton was born May 15, 1919, in rural Clarence to Ernest and Augusta (Muntz) Behrens. Milton married Helen Wingert on Feb.19, 1944 in Tipton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at St. John's United Church Of Christ in Clarence, Iowa, with Reverend David Mears officiating. Burial will follow at Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 9:30a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, at Arrangements With Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Milton was preceded in death by his parents, and two of his brothers, Roy and Ervin. Milton was survived by wife Helen of Tipton and sister Hilda Wingert of Tipton, sister in law Ellen Behrens of Lowden and Elaine (Darrell) Hurdle of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin also surviving are nieces and nephews.
