Miriam Heneks, age 91 of Mechanicsville, passed away on Monday February 15, 2021 at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton. A graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mechanicsville will be held at a later date. Miriam was born December 1,1929 in Mechanicsville to Forest and Dorothy Hamilton Rhoads. She was married to Gene Heneks on March 6, 1951. He passed away on November 16, 2004. She is survived by her sons Bill (Karen) and Bob (Laura) of Mechanicsville; granddaughters Stacey (Nate) Heneks and Karey (Travis) Sowden; great grandson Ivan Sowden; and sister Mary Jean Penningroth of Tipton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister Margaret. Miriam enjoyed traveling in her earlier years and loved gardening, her flowers, and was very proud to be a farmwife.
