Molly Su Van Daele, age 47 of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Wednesday May 8, 2024. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 17 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland with Pastor Tessa Cavey officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Inurnment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Molly was born February 2, 1977 in Davenport, Iowa to Michael and SuAnn (Jacobs) Van Daele.

She is survived by her mother SuAnn (Eldon) Pewe of Wheatland; brother Lanny and wife Teena Davis-Van Daele and their children Holden and Lowden; sister Lynnette Van Daele of Las Vegas and her children Noah and Savanna Carideo; uncle Terry (Dena) Jacobs of Kensington, Maryland; aunts Lois Jacobs of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Sally Starling of Calamus; and 3 special cousins Cameron, Keaton, and Miranda.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Molly graduated from Midland High School in 1995 and went on to earn a degree at California State University in Northridge, CA. After college she went to work in the Quad Cities as an office manager. She enjoyed listening to music, riding motorcycles with friends (she was very involved in A.B.A.T.E.), going to the cabin, and any chance for a family gathering. Molly had a big heart and loved to spoil her mother and Eldon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Pine Hill Cemetery.
