Nancy J. Kroemer, age 76 of Lowden, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday October 4, 2024 at the Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon. Her funeral services will be held on Monday October 7 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden with Rev. Daniel Redhage officiating. Visitation will be from 3-6 on Sunday October 6 at Chapman's in Clarence. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Nancy was born August 31, 1948 in Anamosa, Iowa to Melvin and Jennie (Wooder) Steffens. She married Howard Kroemer November 30, 1968 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden. He passed away on April 19, 2020.

She is survived by her children Tammy (Scott) Mahmens of Marion, John (Jennifer) of Moline, IL, Linda Dare of Milan, IL, and Laurie Kroemer of Marion; grandchildren Mitchell (Jana), Macauley (Nicole), Shawn, Kelsey, Rylee, and Sarah; great granddaughters Quinn, Blaire, and Olivia; great grandsons Colin and Beau; and her brother Joe (Karen) Steffens of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother Bruce.

Nancy was a devoted farm wife that cooked at many various establishments through the years. She enjoyed playing bingo, time with her family, car rides to get ice cream, and helping her friends with whatever they needed.
