Patricia A. Boedeker, age 60, of Bennett, Iowa, died on January 29, 2012 at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport. Patricia was born January 16, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Everette Sander and Irene (Andresen) Sander. Patricia married Steven Boedeker on September 25, 1971 at Tipton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Peace United Church Of Christ in Bennett, Iowa, with Pastor Tom Emerick officiating. Burial will follow at Inland Cemetery in Bennett. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 31, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence with an American Legion Auxiliary service at 7:00 pm. Pat had been employed as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Bennett and bugled for military funerals for many years. She was a member of Peace U. C. C., enjoyed bowling, crafts, crocheting blankets and she also enjoyed camping. She is survived by husband Steven; daughters: Dawn Frey of Clarence, Debra (Tyler) Rouse of Mechanicsville; parents Everette and Irene Sander of Tipton; 4 grandchildren: Brighton and Lacey Rouse, Kylie and Hilary Frey; in-laws Don and Carol Boedeker of Lowden; 3 sister in-laws: Sally Snyder, Sue Monson, Rita Mayerhofer; 1 brother in-law Scott Boedeker; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Patricia was preceded in death by her grandparents and brother-in-law Stan Boedeker.
