Paula K. Meyer, age 59 of Morley, passed away on Saturday May 20, 2023 at her home after a brave battle with lung and brain cancer. A celebration of Paula's life will be held on Saturday June 24 at 1:00 P.M at her home in Morley. Burial will be in Green Center Cemetery in rural Morley.

Paula was born on June 26, 1963 in Anamosa, IA to Donald Fairley and Barbara Butterfield. She married David Meyer on July 14, 1990 in Morley.

Paula is survived by her husband David; daughters Amy Jo (Keith) Keltner and Jennifer (Blake) Carpenter; grandchildren Brooklyn and Dylan Keltner and Haley, Paisley, and Bella Carpenter; and special friends Kenya Theilen, Kathy Kirby, Kim Heady, and Jean McPherson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents Lewis and Edna Fairley; brothers Mike & Steve Schmaljohn; sister Marcia Schmaljohn; father-in-law Conrad Meyer; special aunt Carole Forst; and BFF Lynda Rae.

Paula was an avid race fan cheering on her husband Dave, son-in-law Keith, and Wayne Hora any chance she got. No matter what she was doing though, her favorite moments were spent with her grandkids. Paula also served on the Morley city council for 6 years.
