Phyllis A. Wendt, age 76 of Stanwood, passed away on Sunday October 11, 2015 at Mechanicsville Specialty Care. Per Phyllis' request, there will be no services. Phyllis was born on August 5, 1939 to Elmer and Rose (Wiskus) Wagner in Anamosa, Iowa. She married Robert Wendt of August 17, 1957 at the Stanwood Lutheran Church. He died March 20, 2008. Phyllis liked to sew, cook, and take care of her family, especially spoiling her grandkids. She never had an enemy. She is survived by her sons, Rodne (Teresa) of Stanwood and Ryan of Clinton; daughter, Ronda Pelzer of Minnesota; granddaughters, Cecelia, Samantha, and Addilynn; grandsons, Brody & Alex; sisters, Alma Unruh & Louise Bell; and twin brother, Phillip Wagner. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert.
