Quentin Daniel Coppess Of Buffalo Grove LCPL Quentin Daniel Coppess was born April 4, 1997 in Arlington Heights to Brent and Debbie (nee Meyer) Coppess. Quentin was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid outdoorsman, with hobbies including fishing, camping, snowboarding, golf and disc golf. He was very proud of his 1987 Pontiac Firebird. Quentin is survived by his brother Spenser Coppess; his grandparents Robert M. Coppess Jr. of Tipton, IA and Richard and Joan Meyer of Clarence, IA; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; his beloved girlfriend, Sydney Ferstein; many special friends; his comrades in the Marine Corps; and by his parents. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Patricia Coppess. Visitation Friday, January 26, 2018 from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at Kingswood United Methodist Church, 401 W. Dundee, Buffalo Grove, IL. A second visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at St. John's UCC, 320 9th Avenue, Clarence, Iowa 52216 until the time of funeral service at 2:30 PM. Interment at Stanwood Cemetery, Stanwood, Iowa.
