Ralph Gade, age 87, of Lowden, Iowa, died Sunday, April 11, 2011 at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home. Ralph was born March 16, 1924, in Lowden to August Gade and Freida (Sieling) Gade. On December 16, 1944, Ralph was married to Dorothy Brockmeyer. She died January 2011. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Zion United Church Of Christ with Rev. Mark Buck officiating. Burial will follow at Lowden Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 9:30 am until service time on Thursday, April 14, at the church. Ralph was a member of Zion United Church Of Christ and also a proud member of the 9:00 Coffee Club. He is survived by brother Delmar (Sandy) of Clarence, and nieces and nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, sisters Irene Sander and Leona Wenndt, and brother Leroy.
