Raymond C. Hansen, age 100, of Marion, Iowa, died at Evergreen Estates III Care Center - Marion, on August 26, 2010. Raymond was born July 22, 1910, in Rural Lowden to Gustev and Martha (Krueger) Hansen. Raymond married Alma Lehrman December 2, 1934, in rural Stanwood. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, August 30, 2010, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Marion, Iowa, with Pastor Gregory Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at Stanwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 on Sunday, August 29, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Pallbearers are Scott Roe, Tony Roe, J.J. Heying, Jeff Wilken, Ross Wilken, and Howard Hansen. He is survived by: a son - Eldon (Bonnie) of Fairfax; 2 daughters - Marlaine (Merlyn) Wilken of Anamosa, Ruth Ann Hansen of Park Forest, Illinois; 4 grandchildren - Jackie Hansen, Jeff Wilken, Ross (Kris) Wilken, Amy (J.J.) Heying; 4 great-grandchildren - Jenna and Kayla Wilken, Brooke and Lauren Heying; 3 step-grandchildren - Jeff (Camille) Roe, Scott (Karen) Roe, Tony (Sheila) Roe; and a brother-Harold (Margaret) of Lowden. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, wife Alma who died in 1997, son Allen, and a step-grandson.
