Richard R. Harbaugh, age 82 of Lisbon, passed away on Saturday November 25, 2023 at Unity Point St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A memorial service will be held at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence on Saturday December 2 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at a later date in the Klein Cemetery, Moscow.

Richard was born March 26, 1941 in Muscatine to Robert and Marion (Hoke) Harbaugh. He married Dianna Hankins on July 7, 1962 in Muscatine.

Survivors include his wife Dianna; son Russell (Theresa) of Stanwood; daughter Deborah (Andrew) Lawrence of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren Bradley, Charles, and Eric Lawrence, and Robert, Randall, and Riley Harbaugh; and great grandchildren Indy, Mikaela, Ryder, Raiden, and Remy Harbaugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Jo Harbaugh.

Richard was a lifelong career insurance agent and spent his free time tinkering in his woodworking shop or traveling. Richard was a member of the Kiwanis community and participated in community service with them. He was a proud Alum of the Iowa Hawkeye Marching Band and was a very devoted husband to Dianna through the years.
