Ricky Gottschalk, age 55, of Lowden, Iowa, died Tuesday, at his home after a lengthy illness. Ricky was born October 9, 1950, in Davenport, Iowa to Robert and Helen (Stolte) Gottschalk. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 13, 2006, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence, Iowa, with Rev. Barb Muhs officiating. Burial will follow at Lowden Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, October 12, at the Funeral Home. Ricky was preceded in death by his father and his brother Randy. Ricky was survived by his wife Roberta, his daughters Rhonda Lowery of Grandmound and Rosa of Lowden, his sons Robin of Phoenix, Arizona and Raymond of Lowden, his mother Helen of Lowden, his sisters Barbara Jones of Lowden and Becky Ackerland of Davenport, his brothers Roger and Royce of Lowden, and 2 granddaughters.
