Robert H. Dehmer, age 83 of Mechanicsville, passed away at the Clarence Nursing Home on Tuesday December 24, 2024. There will be services in the Chicago area at a later date.

Robert was born October 24, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to Elmer and Ann (Lebich) Dehmer. He married Jill Avildsen on August 5, 1967. She passed away June 25, 1997.

Robert is survived by his son Brian (Cyndy) Dehmer of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter Meredith (James Hohnke) Dehmer of Mechanicsville; and granddaughter Grace Dehmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Philip, sister Janet, and son Matthew.

Robert was a man who enjoyed life and lived it to it's fullest. He was a history buff that loved reading his vast collection of books, playing solitaire, listening to music, politics, being with his family, and spoiling his granddaughter. Robert was a member of the Seeds of Faith Lutheran Church in Lisbon.
