Robert J. "Bob" Fisher, age 73 of Mesa, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly in his home on July 3, 2023. Visitation will be held at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence on Thursday July 13 from 4-7 PM. There will be a private family burial in the Van Horn Cemetery.

Bob was born January 18, 1950 to Arthur and Vanita (Pauls) Fisher in Davenport, Iowa. He married Janice Orr in 1977 and they later divorced. He was then in a relationship with Peggy Bishop until her passing in 2008, only then to become married to Julie Gallagher in 2012 until they recently divorced.

Bob is survived by his daughter Michelle Fisher Ramer of Durant; son Brian (Cindy) Fisher of DeWitt; grandchildren Nora, Caleb, Trey, and Noah; sisters Ardella (Sid) Boots of California, Ladonna Finch of Davenport, and Denise (Greg) Pingel of Ely; and a brother David of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Harley; and sister Janet.

Bob enjoyed golfing, camping, NASCAR races, bowling, and the Hawkeyes and Packers. He also played fast pitch softball in his earlier years. Bob owned and operated his own business in Grand Mound for many years before going to work for others.
