Robert E. Koch 86, of Springfield, MO passed away on July 27th, 2017 from a short illness. Visitation will be held at Chapman's in Clarence on Tuesday August 1, from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m.. Graveside services will follow immediately at the Stanwood Cemetery. He was born on September 12th, 1930 in Stanwood, IA. After many years as residents of Stanwood, and members of St. Paul Lutheran church, Robert and Wilma moved to Springfield, MO. in 1993. Here they joined the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Robert was active in the church for many years. He is survived by his brother Kenneth, wife Wilma, son Russell, daughter Carla and son-in-law, Steve. He was preceded in death by his father Edward, his mother Bernice, sister Joan, and brother Jimmy.
