Robert F. Miller, age 93 of Clarence, passed away on Monday March 25, 2024 at the Clarence Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 29 at 2:30 p.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence with Janet Shotwell officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time at the church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery with military rites.

Bob was born September 14, 1930 in Cedar County to Fred and Louise (Hulse) Miller. He married Kathryn Kintzel on February 15, 1953 in Clarence. She passed away on March 10, 2016.

He is survived by his son Scott of San Antonio, TX; daughters Debbie Miller of Shoreview, MN and Diane (Warren) Koth of Lowden; grandchildren Kyle (Rachel), Kris (Renae), and Megan Koth; great grandchildren Kasen, Kayden, Kael, Rainna, and Abraham Koth, and Zoe King.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sisters, Donna Wulff and Dorothy Claney.

After graduating from Clarence High School, Bob honorably served his country in the Navy during the Korean War and was stationed in Bremerton, WA, San Diego, CA, and Hawaii. Bob drove a Sinclair tanker truck before accepting the role as postmaster in the Clarence Post Office, where he retired. He enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach and postmaster conventions with his wife, attending his grandkids and great grandkids sporting events, and watching the Cubs or Iowa Hawkeyes. Bob was a member of the Clarence American Legion, St. John's UCC where he was a Sunday School teacher in his earlier years, and was a past member of the Clarence Volunteer Fire Department. He also truly enjoyed his social hour with his buddies.
