Robert J. Rouse, age 67 of Clarence, passed away on Monday May 8, 2023 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday May 12 at 2:00 P.M at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tipton with Father Richard Okumu officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Tipton. Visitation will be held from 4-7 P.M at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence on Thursday May 11.

Bob was born on May 3, 1956 to Chester and Anna (Wallace) Rouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He married Sherri Wenndt on August 27, 1977 in Lowden.

He is survived by his wife Sherri; children Brian (Ashley) of Luzerne, Joel (Marisa) of Clarence, Daniel (Alie) of Cedar Rapids, and Paige of Maquoketa; grandchildren Madison, Koehn, and Jacee; two brothers; and two sisters.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob enjoyed reading, motorcycles, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and spending time with his family. He was a self-employed carpenter before working at the Clarence Coop and also part time at Farm Service. Bob had served as coordinator on the Clarence Ambulance and dedicated over 40 years of his life to serving the surrounding communities. He also had a special love for his fur babies Mia and Mocha.
