Robert A. Scheeper, age 78 of Lowden, passed away in the early morning hours on Wednesday September 4, 2024 at the Monticello Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence on Saturday September 7 at 10:00 AM with a visitation one hour before. Pastor Daniel Redhage will officiate. Burial will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Lowden.

Robert was born August 14, 1946 in Lowden, Iowa to Edgar and Evelyn (Burmeister) Scheeper. He was married to Louise Boyer in 1972 and later divorced.

He is survived by his sons Russell of DeWitt and Ryan of Des Moines; brother Marnell of Lowden; grandchildren Nicholas, Skylar, Brandon, Lillia, Chase, Alexis; and great grandchild Braxton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert worked for over 20 years for the Chicago North Western Railroad. He enjoyed nature, the outdoors, fishing, anything on the farm, family gatherings, and going to auctions.
