Roland Mingst, age 85, of Clarence, Iowa, died December 10, 2009. Roland was born November 8, 1924, in Clarence to Bill Boettcher and Edna Mingst. Roland married Mildred Horn Jan 28, 1945. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, December 13, 2009, at Clarence United Methodist Church, Iowa. Burial will follow at Clarence Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Saturday, December 12, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence.
