Rosalie A. McAtee, age 67, of Clarence, Iowa, died July 19, 2006, at home after a long illness. Rosalie was born July 22, 1938, in Walker, Iowa to Henry and Caroline (Putnam) Reece. Rosalie married Chuck McAtee on July 15 of 1964 in Center Point. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, July 24, 2006, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence, Iowa, with Karmen Jamison officiating. Burial will follow at Clarence Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, July 23, at Chapman's. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. She is survived by her husband, Chuck; sons: William (Kelli) Jones of Waco, Texas; Kevin Jones of Clarence; Chuck McAtee of Clarence; Scott (Amy) McAtee of Clarence; daughter: Linda (Dave) Wallace of Tipton; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Roland Reece of Cedar Rapids; sisters: Bernice Patterson of Cedar Rapids; Crystal Stoner of Waterloo; Yvonne Warren of Orange, California. Rosalie was employed in food service at North Cedar Schools. She was member of American Legion Auxilliary and Clarence United Methodist Church.
