Ruth Gertrude Kruckenberg, age 95 of Lowden, passed away at her home on Sunday October 26, 2025. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden with Pastor Daniel Redhage officiating on Friday October 31, 2025 at 10:30 AM. Per Ruth's request, there will be no visitation. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Ruth was born April 30, 1930 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Albert and Gertrude (Kroemer) Nieting. She married Everett Kruckenberg on May 13, 1967 in Lowden. He passed away March 5, 2017.

Ruth has no immediate survivors, but loved her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Ruth was a lifelong resident of Lowden and a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a bookkeeper through her life working for Rex Feed, the City of Lowden, Norton Attorney at Law, and Everett's business Kruckenberg Plumbing and Heating. Ruth enjoyed Lowden History, family genealogy, and gardening.
