Sandra J. Fields, age 76 of Lowden, passed away on Tuesday March 1, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 3, 2016 at 11:00 A.M at the Zion United Church of Christ in Lowden with Reverend Stephen Stepp officiating. Burial will follow at the Glendale Cemetery in LeClaire, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M until service time at the church. Sandra was born on July 27, 1939 to James and Barbara (Ripley) Fleagle in Davenport. She married Robert Fields, Jr. on January 30, 1960 in Davenport. He passed on December 11, 2004. Sandra was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and loved attending her grandchildren's activities along with motorcycle riding.She was a loving, caring, good mother. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Martin of Wheatland; sons, Bob (Joni) Fields III and Scott (Carmen) Fields of Lowden; daughters, Lynn (Steve) Bixler of Clarence and Jodi (Norb) Mendleski of Phoenix, AZ.; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sandra was preceded in death by her father and husband. Memorials may be directed to the Clarence Ambulance, Lowden Fire and Rescue, or Meals on Wheels.
